The Winnipeg Jets have signed their prized UFA goaltender to a 5 year $19.5 million dollar contract. That is both huge money and huge term for an unproven goaltender. I hope beyond hope that he pans out and finds some level of consistency going forward. This contract will look terrible if he doesn't substantially improve his play very quickly.
