I like this deal. Macenauer is a young player (23) fully capable of contributing in the NHL, as he leads all NHL rookies in penalty kill time. Macenauer put up 4 points in 29 games with the Ducks thus far this season, and another 6 with the Ducks' AHL affiliate the Syracuse Crunch. He was drafted 63rd overall in the 3rd round by the Ducks in 2007 Holzapfel, also 23, had 8 goals and 7 assists with the St. John's IceCaps this year. Holzapfel was drafted in the 2nd round, 43rd overall, by the Atlanta Thrashers in 2006.
