Winnipeg Jets Year in Pictures 2011-12

Happy New Year! To celebrate, we bring you a photo gallery of the best pictures in 2011-12.

Well, here we are! It's hard to believe that we've already reached the end of 2012, considering how painstakingly slow the NHL lockout has made the past few months for fans of the Winnipeg Jets.

Though we wish we could have been able to include images of the 2012-13 season, we can at the very least remain optimistic that a CBA will soon be ratified after this latest round of legal posturing, returning NHL hockey to the masses.

2011-12 was a tumultuous year for Winnipeg, as fan emotion ebbed and flowed with the team's erratic play. So as our New Year's gift to you, please enjoy the good, the bad and the most memorable moments of the Jets' inaugural season.

And most of all, have a safe and Happy New Year with your friends and loved ones.
