The St. John’s IceCaps will be looking to collect their second straight win against the Portland Pirates, a team they lit up like a Christmas tree to the tune of eight goals last night. Unfortunately, the win came at a cost to Mark Dekanich’sstat line, as the IceCaps’ starting netminder allowed six goals of his own before being pulled for Edward Pasquale who thwarted 17 of the 18 shots he faced.

Alexander Burmistrov played the role of the hero for the hometown 'Caps, scoring the game winner 1:03 into the overtime frame and earning himself a throng-sized celebration from his teammates. He will look to continue his scoring streak with another solid effort tonight.

Game time goes at 5:00PM CST and we'd love for all of our closest friends to join us and talk some hockey.
