Rick Rypien Found Dead
Toronto Globe and Mail's James Mirtle tweeted tonight that police have found Rick Rypien dead in his Alberta home. Terrible news.

Just awful news.
I followed him closely with both the Moose and the Canucks over the past few years. Easily the toughest pound-for-pound fighter in the league who was well-liked by his teammates. While injured last season with the Moose in the playoffs, coach Noel had him on the bench in his suit to help with coaching duties.
I was really looking forward to seeing him in a Jets uniform. R.I.P. Rick “The Ripper” Rypien.
