Kevin Cheveldayoff was the Assistant GM of the Chicago Blackhawks last season. He spent the previous 12 years as the general manager of the American Hockey League’s Chicago Wolves. He was drafted by the New York Islanders with their first pick in the 1988 NHL Entry Draft, a knee injury cut his professional playing career short after five seasons. An interesting choice.
