My name is Adam, I was introduced to the site by good friend, Michael Schuckers. I'm pursuing the PhD in Statistics in Missouri (3 years left). I've always had a passion for hockey, and statistics. Combining the two was very easy.

I have an article in JQAS on how to end tanking in sports. Using my alternative methodology, where draft order is determined by performance after mathematical elimination, the Thrashers would have gotten first overall pick, instead of 4th (E.Kane).
