Tonight, Tonight: Sympathy for the Devils
The Jets head into New Jersey looking for their fourth win in six games, coming off a Truly Gritty performance on Long Island.
Their forces continue to be depleted by injuries, as we see Randy Jones exit and Paul Postma come in in his stead. However, the Jets aren't the only team suffering from injuries, as this game will see Ilya Kovalchuk miss out with a pulled muscle, with David Clarkson replacing him on the top line for the Devils.
The Jets will still need to pull together defensively and cut back on penalties if they want to succeed, not only tonight but down the road as well. Rallying around each other's willingness to put the team before the man could be big in games to come as it seems some of this teams potential (looking at you Evander Kane) is finally coming to the surface.
With a win tonight the Jets can begin to pull themselves out of the basement of the historic Southeast Division

Unfortunately for The Postman
To quote Scottie Pippen: “The [postman] doesn’t deliver on Sundays.” And in the U.S., they might not deliver on a second day (to be determined), either.

If he starts actually hitting the net with his shots perhaps. But the number of missed shots, 21, is far too many.
