The Winnipeg Jets have claimed Brett MacLean off waivers from the Phoenix Coyotes on Thursday. He put up good scoring numbers with Oshawa back in junior and has also proven himself capable at the AHL level. Still young at 22 so there's upside there. One can only assume he's bound for St.John's as well.
