2010-11 Defense Independent Goalie Ratings (DIGR)

Just a quick note that I've posted the 2010-11 DIGR Ratings.  DIGR creates an adjusted save percentage based upon an identical set of shots.  The link to the full 2010-11 rankings are given here: 2010-11 DIGR Ratings.  Full details on the methodology are found here: DIGR paper.  Not much of a surprise that Tim Thomas has the top DIGR rating though it is less than his save percentage (RawSV%).

Top 10 goalies who faced over 600 shots are listed after the jump along with number of shots faced, what an average goalie would have done with those shots and their salaries in millions.

Some evidence that shot quality matters is given in this previous post: Shot Quality post.
